As an Artist Kevin Watson believes that there is a story in every piece of art created and only the Artist knows the true story within.

For many year’s Kevin has been drawing and sketching. This unique gift became apparent to him as a young boy when he discovered that with the skillful use of pencil and paper He could make images come alive. Kevin was fascinated by how the subtle interaction and mingling of light and shadow’s could make an image appear so realistic and yet was only sketched on a flat piece of paper.

Over the year’s Kevin has dabbled on and off with the paints but always migrated back to a dry medium and his true calling as a Pencilist. He prefers the precise rigid control that the slender cylinder provides and only with sharp, pencil point accuracy can he recreate the real life images Kevin is most passionate about.

Kevin’s main goal as an Artist is to capture a brief moment of fantastical realism and render it exquisitely by pushing colours around on paper. Vividly revealing the true story within and ultimately evoking an emotional response from the observer. This is the magic of divine creativity.
